Dublin Elite Roofing is a certified installer of Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) flat roofs, commonly referred to as fiberglass roofing. GRP is a cold-applied liquid resin system reinforced with glass fibre matting, finished with a heavy-duty, fire-retardant grey topcoat. Because it is applied cold, it completely eliminates the fire risk associated with traditional hot-melt roofing applications.
One of the primary structural benefits of a GRP flat roof is that it is completely seamless. The liquid laminate forms a single, monolithic membrane over the entire roof surface, including around complex features like rooflights, pipes, and parapet walls. This seam-free design eliminates the weak points where traditional roofing systems fail, offering a 100% leak-proof lifetime solution.

High-Performance Three-Layer Torch-On Felt Systems
For residential extensions, garages, and commercial warehouses seeking a cost-effective yet highly durable roofing solution, we recommend our advanced three-layer torch-on felt systems. This system is engineered using three individual layers of elastomeric bitumen-modified felt, welded together with a propane torch to create a thick, waterproof barrier.
The installation process begins with a high-performance vapour barrier (underlay), followed by a reinforced polyester intermediate layer, and finished with a heavy-duty 4.5kg mineral cap sheet. The mineral cap sheet is surfaced with slate granules to provide excellent UV protection and traction.
Modern torch-on felt utilizes SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) polymers, which make the bitumen highly elastic. This elasticity allows the roof to expand and contract during freezing winters and hot summer days without cracking, tearing, or blistering. We offer a 15-year written warranty on all torch-on felt installations.
EPDM Rubber Roofing Membranes
Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) is a high-density synthetic rubber membrane that is widely used for residential and commercial flat roofs. EPDM is installed in single, large sheets, which minimizes the number of seams on the roof. It is extremely lightweight, flexible, and holds an outstanding lifespan of over 50 years.
Because EPDM is highly elastic, it easily accommodates structural movement and temperature changes. It is resistant to ozone, UV radiation, and extreme temperatures, making it virtually maintenance-free once installed. It is an environmentally friendly choice as it can be fully recycled at the end of its life.
